Brad Witort is the poultry farmer behind WiSH Family Homestead. He’s the one on the ground every day, feeding the chickens and turkeys, raising them from the time they are babies, and personally caring for them until they are ready to be processed. Brad is incredibly detail-oriented and has a genuine love for the work and the outdoors.

Brad didn’t grow up farming. He discovered this lifestyle after moving to Wisconsin several years ago and acquiring land. His goal was to prioritize health and wellness by providing for his family. Today, Brad and his family enjoy their own home-raised food year-round, supplemented by produce from other local farmers.

When he isn't working or tending to the animals, Brad is usually outside. He loves snowboarding, snowmobiling, and riding motocross. He’s also an avid guitar player and collector, enjoys cooking and smoking meat, and spends a lot of time on the property with his Great Pyrenees, Ezekiel.

Community is a big part of why Brad does what he does. He’s a regular at local farmers' markets and values the connections made through trading with other farmers. Of course, he doesn't run WiSH Family Homestead all alone! He’s supported by his wife, Kay, who runs a successful private therapy practice, and his daughter, Hope, who helps out on the homestead when needed.
